    The stamped cursive "CHAMBERS" logo is, I believe, actually aluminum. They show up once in a great while on eBay, and might be available from places like the Tulsa Stove Hospital, but may be rather pricey. If you find two, let me know - I need one, also.

    I have Chambers (duh) stove and wall oven...sorry I don't know the model number, but its the copper plated version, circa 1954.
    anyway, the stainless steel cursive lettering thats pinned into the face of the stove deck has broken into multiple pieces;
    I am wondering if this is a readily available item, and if so if anyone knows where to get one.
    also, I am in need of the original embossed stainless cover for the griddle. certainly could live without it, but I know such an item exists (I see it in my owners manual), and it would be cool to have one. thanks

    The copper Chambers seem to be 1953 C series. There is a stamp seen under the right front burner plate. I just got my copper C re-plated! It is not quite the perfect job I was hoping for but it looks like the original patina - complete with the antiquing. It is not assembled yet - I want to do some restoration first.

    Do you have photos you can post of yours? The copper c's seem to be rare - only two or three on this site.

    my setup is literally what's shown in this ad (minus the copper hood) So I'm pretty sure its a C-model. I couldn't find the stamp under the right front burner plate though. 1953 sounds like about the right year; its original to the house, which was built in 1954. I'll post an actual picture when I get the chance...meanwhile, any ideas about where to get a griddle cover and the aluminum logo for the built-in stove?

    I would recommend you contact a stainless fabricator for a griddle cover. I have an aftermarket one on my stove and it is terrific. Protects my griddle and gives me extra counter space when I am not using the griddle / broiler.
